About Me
I'm a self-taught photographer currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Photography is my passion, and I hope you enjoy some of my favorite shots. All photos and content on this website are copyrighted by Eric Brandt. Please ask for permission before you make use of my photos for private or business purposes. Contact me at: What I ShootTravel: Places I've lived (San Francisco/Bay Area, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Berlin, Cambodia) and places I've visited (North America, Europe, Southeast Asia). I strive to capture the spirit of place through my photography.Urban Exploration: I have a strong emotional reaction to abandoned and forgotten places and objects. Empty warehouses, factories, grain elevators, silos, railyards and traincars, power plants, condemned buildings, industrial wastelands, storm drains and tunnels, rusted and derelict machinery, urban decay and other things generally overlooked and ignored. Street Photography: I lived in Southeast Asia in 2008, where I built a large collection of street photos from Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Saigon, and Hanoi. Consider this to be an ongoing project. Photojournalism: I've done assignments for the San Mateo Daily Journal, Menlo Park Almanac, and Palo Alto Weekly, as well as the Associated Press. I'm available for assignment any time, anywhere. Street Art: Graffiti, stencil, wheatpaste, stickers, murals, street installations and other random displays of artistic expression. Fine Art: Portraits, black and white, abstract images. Check out my Flickr portfolio here.My WorkWhere my photos have appeared: |
